freezing!
winter's nearly here.. it's getting colder with each passing day.. which reminds me- need to save money so that i can go buy winter jackets/tops...one teaspoon have a great range of tops that have a fleece underlayer.. but they're all a little bit low cut for me.. and they come in great colours too ..
anybody else feeling the freezing weather? esp. at syd uni -- the wind always seems to blow right through me - leaving me literally chilled to the bones..

today at uni- a girl walked up to me and my friends ( this was at about 5 and we're all brain dead from a 3 hr physiology tut. ) and asks us about RU486
me- first thought.. r u 4 86? what's so special about 1986? then when 3 seconds later-- hang on, u mean the abortion drug? women should decide whether to use it or not, not the government... (what on earth am i talking about? utter crap! i think i was trying to sound like a feminist? like i was up to date with current issues in australian society? righteous? interesting? )
my two other friends are like- don't know anything about the pharmokinetics of the drug ( i.e how it interacts within the body, etc)

Was she a nut from the evangelical union? We had a lively discussion on it in accounting last year (yes accounting). The B.Sci students told us that it works similiarly to the morning after pill by stopping some enzymes binding to something, thus stopping the development of the foetus (or something like), sounds pretty terrible, but then abortions are, arent they?
